Reviews

Great place neatly tucked away in Tarrant Street within walking distance of all the attractions and restaurants Arundel has to offer.
Barry - August 2024
Laura was incredibly responsive and helped us get settled in and feeling like home. The location is really perfect being a close walk to all the restaurants and shops and with views of the cathedral and canal from different sides of the home. We loved sitting in the window seat and watching village come and go and how quiet the home felt even being so close to everything. We'll definitely look to stay again next time we're in the area!
Patrick - June 2024
A beautiful home in the centre of Arundel, perfectly located to explore the wonderful town. Good sized living spaces and nicely appointed kitchen, decent sized bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms if the house is fully occupied.
James - July 2023
Great cottage, just as advertised. We had a lovely stay thank you. Everything was very comfortable and neat. Communication was always quick. Would stay here again.
Sherpa - June 2023
February stay - Very convenient for all the facilities in and around Arundel. Parking not at the property but we all found free parking nearby. The owner came very quickly after we had arrived as the heating was not working and the house was cold but he fixed it. It might not be a suitable for a young family or the less mobile because of the two sets of fairly steep stairs.

What a lovely place so close to the centre of town. Comfortable and cosy with everything we needed for a long weekend. Great pubs and cafes really close and lovely river walks. Thank you.
April 2023
We had a fabulous extended week at Old Cornerstores. Thanks firstly to Sally who responded promptly to questions and was friendly, polite and accommodating to a date change we required. We were a group comprising of myself, my husband, 3 teens and a dog. Even though it was an intensely hot week, there was plenty of space to spread out - the lads got plenty of use from the pool table - and we enjoyed sitting out to cool off in the dog-friendly secure courtyard garden. The house was a lovely conversion from the old cornstores and in a great location to explore the charms of Arundel, the South Downs and the seaside just a stone’s throw away. (Our four-legged friend particularly enjoyed Littlehampton’s dog friendly West Beach.) Overall, a wonderful stay. Many thanks ?
Charlotte - August 2022

We enjoyed our stay in Arundel. The property had character and plenty of space. The historic town was interesting, with great restaurants. The caste and cathedral were an easy walk. The beach resort of Littlehampton was a short drive - the kids loved the beach and funfair there.
Nesta - September 2021
We had a great stay here. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Arundel but in a nice quiet spot. The rooms were spacious and had everything you need. Check in couldn’t be easier and there was great communication from Laura throughout.
Tracy - September 2021
Fantastic location, lovely space for chilling out when at the house. Very lovely and clean on arrival and we knew we could message Graham the owner if we needed any help.
Zoe - July 2021
Great property to explore Arundel and the surrounding area. The house is in a central but quiet location. The rooms are all a good size and we had a very relaxing stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the house has good wifi. We would definitely stay here again, there is lots to explore in the area and you can see a lot by train if you don't drive.
Jane - June 2021
Great spot for exploring the local amenities on foot yet still in a quiet spot. theres lots of space and the pool table is great. The rayburn/aga is a great sources of heat and also cooks a mean roast dinner. Parking can be tricky but we always managed to get a space. Graham is always close by if needed and had some great tips on where to go for walking/cycling and Laura made the whole process very straight forward. This please is full of the historic charm which fits with the town and is very cute. the living room has a great big window sill that our dog loved sitting on and being nosey. its a great place and we would love to come back when the town is open
James - March 2021

This lovely, traditional house was perfect for our trip to Arundel. Right by the river and very short walk to great locals pubs, fine restaurants and castle etc. Our teenagers loved playing pool on the top floor whilst we enjoyed the open fire and cosy feel of the place. Great hosts, thank you!
Henry - February 2020
Lovely accommodation with close proximity to locals shops, Galleries and Arundel Castle
