Set in the grounds of a traditional brick and flint Sussex house is Well Cottage: a comfortable guest house which sleeps 4/5 guests.

Well Cottage is situated between Chichester and the seaside along a quiet country lane approximately 2 hours south of London and 15 minutes from the coast. There are many walks right from the door and a cycle path leading down to the coast or up to Chichester for shopping.

When you turn into the drive you will find to your right 2 private parking spaces directly in front of Well Cottage. To your left is a small private garden area with seating, BBQ and washing line to dry beach towels in the summer.

The front door of the cottage opens into a large open plan area with kitchen, living and dining area. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and an oven, microwave, fridge and freezer and is fully equipped with everything that you need to make proper family meals. The dining table seats up to 6 guests and the living room has soft seating for 4. There is a bathroom (with bath and shower) and utility cupboard with washing machine on the ground floor. Upstairs are 2 pretty bedrooms under the eaves: one with a double bed and one with 2 singles with hanging space in both.

Maximum sleeping capacity upstairs is 4 but we have a z bed that can be put up in the living room if you need to sleep 5 (£13 per night/£80 per week).

Well behaved dogs are allowed with written permission but they must not be left unattended on the property.  The charge for dogs is £25 per week.

Hunston is only 5 miles from Goodwood Racecourse and Motor  Circuit which are the homes of the infamous Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and Glorious Goodwood making it ideal for accommodation over one of the Festivals.

The cottage is in a lovely quiet lane, only a short drive from Chichester. you can walk by the river into Chichester which is about 25mins. lots of pubs and restaurants in Chichester, but there is a village pub and some in the surrounding villages. the cottage has everything you need, very clean and comfortable, the host left us alone but gave us all the information we needed about the area. The owner greeted us when we arrived and came to say bye when we left. Nice sitting area, the bedrooms are in the eaves so a bit sloping in areas but that wouldn't put us off staying again. Very nice stay.

The place is very nice nice, clean confortable, with a beautiful garden. The local pub, swann, just next door had excelent food with fair pricing. Excellent place to stay for the Goodwood festival of speed.
