Well Cottage, West Wittering

Set in the grounds of a traditional brick and flint Sussex house is Well Cottage: a comfortable guest house which sleeps 4 guests.

Well Cottage is situated between Chichester and the seaside along a quiet country lane approximately 2 hours south of London and 15 minutes from the coast. There are many walks right from the door and a cycle path leading down to the coast or up to Chichester for shopping.

When you turn into the drive you will find to your right 2 private parking spaces directly in front of Well Cottage. To your left is a small private garden area with seating, BBQ and washing line to dry beach towels on a sunny day.

The front door of the cottage opens into a large open plan area with kitchen, living and dining area. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and an oven, microwave, fridge and freezer and is fully equipped with everything that you need to make proper family meals. The dining table seats up to 6 guests and the living room has soft seating for 4. There is a bathroom (with bath and shower) and utility cupboard with washing machine on the ground floor. Upstairs are 2 pretty bedrooms under the eaves: one with a double bed and one with 2 singles with hanging space in both.

Maximum sleeping capacity upstairs is 4 but we have a z bed that can be put up in the living room if you need to sleep 5 – there is a charge of £30 to rent the additional bed, including bedding, sheets and towel.

Well behaved dogs are allowed with written permission at a charge of £25 per dog for stays up to 7 days and £25 for each subsequent week but they must not be left unattended on the property.

This is wonderful family accommodation within easy striking distance of both Chichester and the beach!
