Max 2 GuestsThe cottage is set within the pretty gardens of one of the larger houses in the village of Fittleworth through a private garden gate. The front door of the cottage opens into a sunny lobby and through into a spacious open plan kitchen and sitting room. There are French doors onto the garden where guests can sit out and enjoy the fresh air. There is a designated private garden area for guests but it is not fenced off from the main garden.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room comfortably seats up to 4 people as does the dining table. There is one large bedroom with a super king bed (which can be separated into two single beds) and an en-suite shower room.
This cottage is well-suited to those less mobile as The Barn is all on one level, it is easy to navigate and there is a handrail and seat in the shower. However, guests should be aware that there are 3 shallow steps at the entrance and there is a small step up into the cottage itself. There is no private parking but it is possible to park almost directly outside the front gate.
There is wifi at the cottage and TV with basic channels. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. They are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs or to be left on their own at the property. There is a fixed charge of £25 per dog per week, payable to Laura Lye. We do not accept cats. Any guest dogs which come must be good with other dogs as the owners have a young spaniel who has the run of the main garden.
Fittleworth is only 15 miles from Goodwood Racecourse and Motor Circuit which are the homes of the infamous Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and Glorious Goodwood making it a popular destination for accommodation over the festivals.
Please note we do not accept Goodwood bookings for less than 4 nights.
