This pretty cottage is set in historic Arundel overlooking Arundel Riding Stables, about 5 minutes’ walk from Arundel’s best shopping and restaurants in Tarrant Street.

On the ground floor is a living area with 2 sofas and a dining table which comfortably seats 6 guests. The modern kitchen is well equipped to prepare family meals and there is a ground floor toilet. At the back of the cottage is a lovely walled patio with table and chairs. Please be aware that there are steps up to the garden and steep steps within the garden which makes it unsuitable for young children unsupervised and for those who are less mobile.

Upstairs is a family bathroom and 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom is wonderfully large with a king size four poster bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and in bedroom 3 there is a single bed (with additional pull out single bed) bringing the maximum sleeping capacity to 6 guests.

Dogs are allowed with written permission for which there is a fixed fee of £25.

Arundel is only 11 miles from Goodwood Racecourse and Motor  Circuit which are the homes of the infamous Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and Glorious Goodwood making it the top destination for accommodation over the festivals.

We are a family of 4. Our two boys are aged 14 and snhouse was the perfect place for us to stay. It was walking distance from all the historic sites in Arudel, wonderful walks along the river Arun and a short car journey to the south coast and the beach! We just loved our stay. The cottage was well equipped and met our every needs including TV viewing for they boys. The kitchen has everything you need and the back courdyard comes with a BBQ! We hope to be back! What a perfect family holiday and we were really quite sad to leave! Thank you to Laura, who ensured that the cottage was clean, tidy and welcoming on our arrival and her communication and answering of questions was alway in a timely manner!

Very nice house, perfectly equipped for 6 persons when extra bed is moved to another bedroom. Cosy country town with interesting shops and loads of pubs, tea shops etc. Arundel castle is worth a journey by itself as other attractions nearby (Chichester, Weald and Downland, Petworth House...)
