Malt House Cottage is a charming weatherboard cottage right in the heart of Arundel just a step away from all the best cafes, shops and antique shops. The cottage is owned by a well-known local artist and her pictures adorn the walls.

The front door opens into a hall off which is a white sitting room/dining room with white sofas and wooden floors. The dining room table comfortably seats 4 and French doors open out onto a little barbecue cooking area. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. There is a ground floor cloakroom.

The master bedroom has a double bed and a lovely en-suite bathroom with free standing bath. There are French doors which open out from the master bedroom onto a balcony with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the morning sun.

Bedroom two has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower.

Arundel is only 11 miles from Goodwood Racecourse and Motor  Circuit which are the homes of the infamous Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and Glorious Goodwood making it the top destination for accommodation over the festivals.

Reviews

Super nice situated in the historic town centre of Arundel. Parking of car is ok, due to the small streets recommended to make as much as possible by walk. Every attraction, mainly the Castle, is close by. When driving, do not miss to visit Littlehampton with it’s beach.

Lovely cottage, great location.

Excellent quiet location with parking in the centre of Arundel . Warm, clean and comfortable. Perfect place to relax.
Hamish - October 2018
Lovely cottage in the heart of Arundel. Thoughtfully presented, clean and tidy. A great place for us to rest, play and explore the surroundings.
Lucy - May 2018
The cottage is very central. The restaurants and bars are a stone’s throw away (literally half a minute walk). Yet the cottage is located in such a way that it feels secluded and hidden away from the high street. It’s a very well designed, decorated and extremely clean cottage which makes you feel welcome and at home. Kitchen has all amenities that one would expect in a home. Lots of light in the cottage which makes the place very lively. The host is a super host and will look after every aspect of your stay.

The cottage is in a fantastic location for exploring Arundel and is a really comfortable place to stay. We had a great time and would love to book the cottage again.
John - October 2017
Excellent location, private whilst being central. Fresh, welcoming decor and vibe about the house. Couldn’t want for anything more! Fabulous master bathroom too!
Dita - October 2017
Great space for older and younger children and families or travellers without cars. Beautifully decorated, clean and homely.
Michelle - April 2017
This little cottage is perfectly located for walking to the castle, taking in the shops and enjoying the many walks in and around Arundel. It was great for a family of four and very comfortable.
