What a lovely light and spacious cottage, much bigger than expected. It is set in a quiet road within easy walking distance of Arundel's High Street. This is the second cottage we have rented from Laura and both have been immaculately clean and well equipped. Thank you Laura.
Great house in a great location. Very clean and tidy, with no concerns around Covid The house could not be more handy for the town - 5 mins of walking takes you to the whole town and a series of great walks through the park from the front door
The house was exactly as described on the website. It offered enough room for a family of 5 and we had a very pleasant stay. The house was close enough to town that our teenage children were able to go out on their own for walks to the shops. The communication with the property manager was very good and we had speedy responses to all of our questions. The house felt very well cleaned with quality towels and bed linen and was well equipped with cooking utensils, crockery etc. The dishwasher was an added bonus. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this property to other families.
We had a great stay in a fantastic location, thank you!
We stayed at Maltravers House with my family for my 35th birthday. Everything was absolutely perfect. The house is magical and cosy. It is located tight in the town centre of Arundel with plenty of local shops, antics, art gallery and restaurants nearby. The house itself is a dream. It has been beautifully decorated to great taste. There are plenty of rooms and perfect for a family holidays so that everyone has its own space. Laura is great at communication and always replied very quickly. Everything was fantastic and I will definitely stay here again. Thank you Laura.
Lovely clean, bright and family friendly cottage in the heart of Arundel. We also loved enjoying the sun in the patio overlooking the cathedral. Walking distance to all shops and entrance to famous castle is a must. Thank you Laura!
Lovely family house.
Clean and comfortable with lots of space this is a great family base when staying in Arundel
Fantastic location. Quiet yet only a few minutes walk into town and close to 2 pubs! Great property, very clean, cosy and homely. Bedrooms are bigger than they look in the photos. Steep steps to front door could be an issue for some. Parking was on the street but easy enough to find a space and we had 3 cars between us.
This was our first Airbnb experience and were very happy with our stay. The cottage is very centrally located and was clean and comfortable. All the facilities were as advertised and we would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Arundel.
Nice cottage, well located. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped.
Laura was a great host, answering any questions efficiently. This was our first airbnb and we weren't disappointed. The property is as described, small but a 5 minute walk from the centre of Arundel, 1 minute from the cathedral. One note, is that Arundel is very hilly and the property is on a steep road so anyone one that finds walking challenging may struggle with all the steep ups and downs.
Laura's property is absolutely immaculate and well situated a few minutes walk from the high street and Arundel Castle . We greatly appreciated thoughtful check-in call before we got to the house. It was the perfect place to stay for a quick getaway with our two young children!
We had a wonderful time at Laura's cottage. It is perfectly equipped, cozy and well situated in Arundel. Laura is the perfect host. You should book this cottage:)
We have visited Arundel many times over the past decade, usually staying about 30 minutes away (although we also stayed once at a local hotel.) Therefore, we knew the town and thought it would be a nice place to call "home" for a few weeks. Wow, were we ever right! Laura's property was in the perfect location. Everything we needed and everyone we wanted to see were literally only a few minutes walk away. Even on the one day that there was a lot of rain, we had no trouble getting around on foot. The ancient town feel, coupled with the friendliness of local residents made our trip special. The house was also special. Neat, newly decorated, quiet, with its own small courtyard garden, it was everything that we have come to love about the south of England.
